No. 11. Physical Qualifications Of A Candidate

Ordered: The physical qualifications of a candidate shall be determined by the subordinate lodge receiving the petition, and the several lodges are enjoined to satisfy themselves in each case of the ability of the candidate to understand and explain or exemplify the secrets of the Craft when properly called upon, and of the ability of the candidate to support himself and his dependents.

No. 12. Rights When Petitioning For New Lodge

Ordered: That the signature of a Mason to a petition for a dispensation to open or form a new lodge does not affect in any way his standing in his own lodge, his rights therein remaining unimpaired. No member of a lodge can sever his connection therewith, without the consent of the lodge, and the assent of the lodge to the petition for a dispensation cannot be construed to be a demit or a temporary suspension of his membership.

No. 13. Relief Of Members

Ordered: That it is the duty of a lodge to assist its members when in need, no matter where they may be. If the member is in good standing he has the right to call upon his lodge to assist him in his hour of trouble, and his lodge should heed his cry of distress, and as far as in their power minister to his relief.

No. 14. Charter Of St. Paul's Lodge

Resolved: That the original charter granted by this Grand Lodge to Saint Paul's Lodge, No. 14, of Newport, be reissued to the petitioners from Saint Paul's Lodge, under Dispensation, and in case the same cannot be found that a new charter be issued bearing the same name and number.

Ordered: That the charter of Adelphoi Lodge No. 33, now of Providence, State of Rhode Island, be amended to allow a change in location of said lodge to East Providence, County of Providence, State of Rhode Island.

All other provisions incorporated in the original charter are hereby continued in effect.

Ordered: That Nestell Lodge No. 37 and Adelphoi Lodge No. 33 merge to become effective September 14, 1995 and the united lodge shall now be known as Adelphoi Lodge No. 33.
