2.5.7 Members of committee on masonic education

The Committee on Masonic Education shall consist of the Grand Master, the Deputy Grand Master, the Grand Lecturer, the Director of Masonic Education, two Past Grand Masters and the Grand Secretary. The two Past Grand Masters are to be appointed by the incumbent Grand Master and one is to serve for a period of two (2) years and the other for a period of three (3) years. At the expiration of their respective terms, the incumbent Grand Master shall either reappoint or appoint a successor.
The Grand Director of Masonic Education shall be designated as chairman of the committee. This committee shall be empowered to designate other brethren to assist them.

2.5.8 Powers of committee on masonic education

It shall be within the power of the Committee of Education to draft and promulgate rules, regulations, by-laws and curricula for the conduct of the Forums of Masonic Education.

2.5.9 Assessment of candidates

Each candidate for the degrees of Freemasonry shall be assessed Five ($5.00) dollars for the maintenance of the Forums of Masonic Education. This fee shall be collected by the subordinate lodges and be paid within twenty (20) days thereafter, to the Grand Secretary.
The money so raised shall be transmitted to the Grand Treasurer and shall constitute a fund from which, upon order by the Grand Secretary and approval of the Grand Master, bills approved and submitted by the Committee on Masonic Education shall be paid.

2.6.1 Requirements

These General Regulations shall not be altered or amended except by the consent of two-thirds of the members present, at least five lodges being represented, at an Annual or Semi-Annual Communication.
